Jenn
Jenn grew up in the Guilderland area with a huge love for animals and never without a pet. She graduated from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington in 2002 with a BS in Biology. Upon moving back to the area and trying to decide what to do next, she started working as an assistant at a local veterinary hospital. She quickly realized that she enjoyed the work and caring for peoples’ beloved pets, so she enrolled in tech school while she continued to work as an assistant. In 2006, she officially became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). A few years later, she was offered the opportunity to go through certification training at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville. In 2009, she completed the program and was awarded the title of Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP). She has continued to work rehabilitating dogs since then, whether it is after surgery or injury, old age care or athletic conditioning.
In her spare time, Jenn very much enjoys spending time with her American Pitbull Terriers. She and her husband can often be found taking them weight pulling or swimming, and they happily participate in GRC Dog Sports. She loves to advocate for the breed and show their strong work ethic and athleticism.
