Patti

Patti grew up in a small town in the Catskill Mountains and has always had a love for animals and medicine.  After high school, Patti obtained an Associates Degree from SUNY Delhi in Veterinary Technology and started her career as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Patti relocated to the Capital District to earn her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany in Economics and Business. After graduation, Patti worked at a small animal general practice hospital for five years, then moved into speciality practice where she worked for 11 years in both the Neurology and Emergency Medicine departments. Patti has always had a special interest in nutrition along with rehabilitation, and was excited to join the team at AVT where she could put these interests to use. Since  joining AVT in 2022, Patti has been developing nutritional plans for our canines and feline patients and is working towards obtaining her CCRP (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner) certification.  In her free time Patti can be found kayaking, strength training, participating in the GRC sport with her dog Stout and spending time with her two cats, George and Pebbles.
