Dr. Sarah Crowe

Dr. Sarah Crowe is a native of the Capital Region and grew up with a deep passion and respect for the natural world. From an early age, she felt a connectedness to animals that guided her to learn and understand all she could in pursuit of improving their lives. Her formal education began as an undergraduate at Cornell University where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science in 2003. From there, she attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.

Dr. Crowe worked in general practice as a small animal veterinarian, always with a focus on therapies that would help her patients thrive and provide their care givers with opportunities to succeed. She quickly developed a special interest in veterinary rehabilitation, impressed with how this service enriched the lives of her patients and subsequently their care givers. Later, she became fascinated by acupuncture and how it can improve the lives of animals (and people too!). This led her to expand her knowledge in 2013 by attending the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (now Chi University) and becoming a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA). Dr. Crowe was then inspired to study at Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in 2015, after which she became Certified in Animal Chiropractic through the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). Most recently, in 2022, Dr. Crowe has become a Certified TCVM Palliative and End-of-Life Practitioner through Chi University.

On a life-long journey of learning, Dr. Crowe finds that the animals and those people who care for them continue to be her best teachers.
